You were like a hypodermic.
An injection that went
straight to my head.
I got you under my skin
but you turned septic.
It took a very special doctor
to diagnose the condition.
It took a courageous operation
to prevent me from getting
complete blood poisoning.
It took a major blood transfusion.
It took a dedicated man
to die
during the procedure.
