Fear of difference fear of other

Though the black man is my brother

We’re not the same as one another

Still Black Lives Matter

Bigots of an elitist tribe

Ethnicity and race divide

Don’t know don’t care what beats inside

But Black Lives Matter

Indifference to those who’ve died

Reveals your prejudice and pride

Your diseased imagination lied

Yet Black Lives Matter

Within the invective that you spew

You say that White Lives Matter too

But that’s such an ignorant point of view

When Black Lives Matter

In the recesses of your mind

You seek no evidence to find

A reason to be colour blind

But Black Lives Matter
